Golden years my butt, things hurt more, takes longer to recover, things don't work like they used to, multiple trips to the bathroom during the night. Oh to be young again but only if I know what I know now. That sounds pretty curmudeonly.

Well last night I broke a 32 year fast of not speaking from the pulpit at church. Spoke at the adult session of Stake Conference. After have worried for days and not feeling like I had anything even Saturday afternoon, things started to come together. I think it went well and I was surprisingly calm during the talk. Seems to have gone well and many comments were received in congratulations and compliments were given. Maybe I didn't do so bad afterall.

I think I will start trying to learn German.

Just one of those days, feeling blah, unmotivated, down in the dumps.

Survived second surgery, a little rougher than the first one but doing ok. Big day for Oscar tomorrow as he is getting snipped so he is getting extra treats today.

This is harder than I thought, or I am dumber than I thought. Just got back from church, good lessons. Making something new for a dessert for a dinner that I have been invited to.
Surgery went well yesterday, do it again next Saturday.
